[(Title)] Saudi ministry launches blood drive for soldiers stationed on southern border.

RIYADH: The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh inaugurated a blood donation campaign for Saudi soldiers stationed in the southern border on Sunday.

利雅得：伊斯兰事务部长Dawah和Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh发动了为周日驻扎在南部边境的沙特士兵开展的献血运动。

The drive, organized by the ministry in cooperation with Prince Sultan Medical City, was held at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh and will continue for four days.

He said:  "This campaign is the least we can do to support our heroes, who we take pride in for all their patience and courage, and their duty in defending the security and borders of our country and our holy places.

Our brave soldiers stationed on the border who have vowed to defend this holy country and its holy sites.

The campaign will be regularly held in the ministry's branches throughout the Kingdom and falls in line with the ministry's keenness to promote Islamic and humanitarian works, according to Sharia.
