[(Title)] Texas man accidentally shot himself with booby trap in his home.

A 73-year-old Texas man who had installed more than a dozen explosive devices in his home in a makeshift booby trap accidentally shot himself, police said Tuesday.

警方周二表示，一名73岁的德克萨斯男子在家中安装了十几个爆炸装置，意外导致自己死亡。

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said officials found the man outside the Tomball house, where he is presumed to live, with a superficial gunshot on the right side of his body.

警长说他们发现男子躺在一座房子外面，据推测那正是他自己居住的屋子，身体右侧有一处枪伤。

The unidentified man told the responding deputy that  "there's danger in the home,"  a spokesperson said. When the deputy entered the house, he too was hit by one of the booby traps. The officer was not seriously hurt.

The homeowner was being treated at a local hospital.

The Harris County SWAT team determined that every entrance to the home was rigged with a booby trap that set off a gunshot shell after finding at least 12 inside the residence. Officials set off the devices to secure safe removal.
